20 Favourites

Hello Internet!

First things first, yes - this week's blog post is a day late. Sorry if that has bothered you, but in my defense university is truly killing me right now 😒

With multiple assignments and a bucket of reading to do, I am also sorry that this week's blog post is also going to be probably one of the shortest in the history of the world 😱

I figured that whenever I am in a bind and don't have a lot of time for in-depth and groundbreaking discussions/reviews, I would give y'all some more useless information about myself. I hope you don't mind 😸😸😸

So without further ado, here are 20 of my favourite things....

1. Favourite fruit?

Grapes, bananas, mangoes and pineapples – just to name a few 😃

2. Favourite movie villain?

Disney: Ursula from The Little Mermaid. Her scheming fabulousness is something we should all aspire to achieve in life.
Generally: There is something so unnervingly intriguing about The Joker. Heath Ledger’s portrayal of him in The Dark Knight is truly brilliant.

3. Favourite day of the week?

Wednesday of course… it’s blog day! (Even though this post is going up on Thursday….). Although I am partial to some shenanigans on a Saturday – gotta love the weekend ❤

4. Favourite vegetable?

I’m not a huge vegetable person, but I do like some carrots, peas or corn from time to time.

5. Favourite item of clothing I own?

I am kind of obsessed with my black scarf right now. It has grey stars on it and I want to wear even when it is warm outside. I think I have a problem 😲

6. Favourite website?

YouTube. It’s as simple as that. But Blogger is pretty fun too 😉

7. Favourite board game?

My brother recently bought Trivial Pursuit: Millennials Edition, and I am crushing it 😆 But I also love the classics – Monopoly and Scrabble – as well.

8. Favourite flower?

If you follow me on Instagram (@miss_memphis98) then you will know that I don’t like to discriminate – I love all flowers equally and photograph them insanely often. But if I had to choose one type, I have a soft spot for frangipanis.

9. Favourite sport?

As an Australian I am obligated to enjoy watching sport, especially in summer. I love watching and also playing netball and soccer.

10. Favourite high school subject?

I am the nerd that is going to say all of them, but I have a soft spot for English and history. Feel free to call me crazy in the comments.

11. Favourite beverage?

Literally anything with ‘iced’ in its name, 365 days a year. Iced coffees, iced chocolates, chillers - I love them all. Hello my name is Emily and I am basic.

12. Favourite number?

26 is pretty cool.

13. Favourite hair colour?

Any involving more than just one. I love rainbows in any form.

14. Favourite letter of the alphabet?

E. No reason…. 😈

15. Favourite music genre?

This question is my literal hell. I CANNOT choose one. All of them I think – it’s truly dependent on my mood 🎶

16. Favourite breakfast cereal?

My guilty pleasures are Corn Flakes and Rice Bubbles, but I will always be a Weetbix kid at heart 😜

17. Favourite romantic comedy?

This is so hard because they are all so good, but I think The Holiday or Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging!

18. Favourite season?

Living in Melbourne, we often get all of them in one go whether we like it or not. But autumn or spring are nice – all the leaves and flowers have such pretty colours 😍

19. Favourite shoes?

You can’t go past a trusty pair of trendy Converse sneakers y’all.

20. Favourite social media platform?

I’ve hated them all at some point in my life, but if I was forced to choose just one – probably Instagram. I’m a sucker for nice-looking pictures.

my thoughts on the Star Wars sequel trilogy.... 🌟🎬😐

I hope you are surviving in this weird and crazy time, and that you haven't murdered any family members yet, or put anything super embarrassing in the background of your work Zoom calls. thoughts from a drama queen in an iso box: day six

  hello world. today has not been a day full of energy. therefore i have not had a lot of motivation to do much of anything interesting or useful. i am still rocking a bit of a cough and there is gunk still present in my head, but thankfully nothing new has presented itself. in not having much oomph today, there also isn’t much of a preamble to the highlights of today. so today was monday july eleventh and whilst in iso i did/thought the following: slept in until two o’clock pm. through trying to outrun multiple different nightmares that did not make me feel well rested and not needing to be anywhere in a hurry today – for obvious reasons… - i just kept rolling over and hitting snooze. that reminded me of early lockdown days in 2020 where i wasn’t employed at the time and could sleep in until early afternoon. it feels great in the moment, but also throws the entire vibe of the day off so that could have explained my general lack of oomph… caught up with episodes of the late...
