Wednesday Wonder- The Next Step Live On Stage: Talent, Teamwork and a Tonne of Fun (Review)

Image
Hello Internet! I hope you are having a great week wherever you are in the world πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€. It's Wednesday, so that means it's blog time in my world πŸ˜„ Over the weekend, I was super busy finishing up some things on my never-ending to-do list and enjoying some extra relaxation time before university started again this week. But the absolute highlight of my weekend was going to see the cast of my guilty pleasure TV show The Next Step perform LIVE (yes, that means in person) at their final Australian show in Melbourne on Sunday night! For those of you who maybe didn't get a chance to see the show or just want to read about a super fun time, I thought I would put together a little review for y'all. Caution: My inner fangirl is about to be unleashed so you have been warned 😝😝😝 Without further ado, here is my review of The Next Step Live On Stage 2017: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------...

Insanely Profound Quotes Part 1

Image
Hello there Internet! I hope you are feeling good wherever you are in the world right now 😊 Before I get into talking about quotes, I want to take this opportunity to do some housekeeping really quickly. When I officially started this blog, my intention was to upload 1-2 posts on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays every week. As I have had a week off from my university classes over Easter, this has been quite successful and thank-you to everyone who has read at least one of them πŸ˜ƒ But I’ve realised that when the university grind starts again, this may become slightly unrealistic. So I have decided that after today, I’m going to try and upload every Wednesday with the occasional Monday or Friday thrown if I get time or something extra awesome happens. This is the plan for now, but the best place to find out about blog updates and other me-related things is through my Instagram account ( @miss_memphis98 ). Now with that out of the way, let’s get on with today’s po...

Where She Went (Book Review)

Image
Hi there Internet! I hope you are well 😁 I've only got one blog post for you guys today, and you'll have to forgive me for cheating a little πŸ™ˆ. Keeping up with my current trend of posting reviews, I wanted to try something different. So I decided to focus on my favourite book of all time - Where She Went by Gayle Forman. But I have to confess that I wrote the bulk of this about 2 years ago for a school project. I was slightly short on time today so I had to dive back into the archives to give you guys something to read today. I'm sorry πŸ™ˆπŸ™ˆπŸ™ˆ But don't worry, I gave it a good edit and added some new thoughts so I'm not being a total sellout when it comes to writing original 2017 content πŸ‘. So without further ado, here are my thoughts on Where She Went: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Source: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/8492825-where-she-went After ...

Monday Movie Time - Dance Academy: A wholesome triumph of teen dance drama (Review)

Image
Hello Internet! πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€ I hope you are having a lovely life wherever you are in the world right now πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–. For this blog post I wanted to write a review of a movie I saw over the weekend - Dance Academy. I was a HUGE fan of the TV series when I was younger and I remember hijacking the television from the rest of my family whenever it was on ABC. So without further ado, here's what I thought of Dance Academy: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Source: https://teaser-trailer.com/movie/dance-academy/ Dance Academy is a wholesome teen dance triumph that combines the nostalgia of the television series with the raw struggle of transitioning to adulthood. It is a sequel to the popular, award winning ABC series that finished back in December 2013 after 3 seasons and 65 episodes. Avid fans like myself were excited to see where Tara and the gang had ended up after ending their adven...

Flashback Friday: Adele dazzles in stadium spectacular (Review)

Image
Hey Internet πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’– To officially get the ball rolling on this fun little blog endeavour, I thought I would start with one of the most amazing nights I have ever had in my 19 years of life so far.  Even though she was here about a month ago now, I still feel  so unbelievably lucky to have been able to see her in person and experience her powerhouse vocals first hand.  Adele is such a beautiful human inside and out! πŸ’™πŸ’œπŸ’š So without further ado, here are some of my thoughts on the Adele concert🎢: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- British superstar Adele brought her critically-acclaimed stadium show down under for the first time this month, and Melbournians couldn’t get enough of the songstress with a flawless two shows at Etihad Stadium. From the centre of her 360-degree circular stage, she performed an 18-song set with clarity, grace and multiple cups of h...
