Favourite Musical Theatre Songs 🎼

Image
Hey Internet! I hope you are doing well today 🌏 Today's post will be very different to my last one. Thanks to anyone who read that, I needed to get some stuff off my chest and at this point, I don't regret posting it at all. But this is the present, and I have a fun little music related post for you today. I believe that more people need to get on the musical theatre obsession train, so please enjoy me raving about some of my faves.... I’ve consumed a shit tonne of music over the last 7 months. That isn’t a new thing for me, but I feel like I’ve turned my music discovery sense up a gear in 2018. I was going over what I could write in terms of musical countdowns and quickly realised that there was an Everest-sized mountain of songs that I could gush to the Internet about. While it’s all well and good to outline which artists made me dance, cry or feel empowered for the last few months, I’ve been feeling something even cooler in 2018.... Musical theatre sound...

Interactive Introverts - An Experience ❤

Hello there Internet, I hope you are doing well today 🌏 I’m not going to start this one with my usual bullshit about how I’m sorry I’ve posted this way later than planned, or that I’m asking you to excuse me for posting my second YouTuber oriented post in a row. Instead, I’m just going to get straight to the point. If you happened to read my last post (linked here   if you’re interested), then you know that at the end I thought the next post (i.e. this one) was going to be a standard review of the happy, fun time I had at Dan and Phil’s world tour Interactive Introverts. Turns out, that is only half true. I did go to the show last Sunday night, but the ‘happy, fun time’ part didn’t exactly eventuate.... That in itself is a loaded statement, especially if you are someone reading this who went to the show and did have a ‘happy, fun time’. Don’t worry, I am going to try and explain myself. But as usual, my brain won’t let me have a normal or coherent thought, so...

Hello there Internet! I hope you're doing well wherever you are in the world today 🌏 If you couldn't tell from the title, this week I've got a book review for y'all 😎 First off, disclaimer - if you aren't really into YouTubers, the fact that they write books sometimes, or 2 specifics YouTubers called Dan and Phil, this week's post might not be for you. This week (and next week if I'm honest) has been dedicated to my YouTuber fangirl, so shoutout to all my fellow fangirls (YouTube or others) 💖You are all always valid 💙. Now, if you scroll back through all my posts, you'll come across one called "Wednesday Wonderment - September Snooze, Honesty and Coming Soon...." (link is here  if you want more context...). In said post, I promised you guys a review of Dan and Phil's first book. I'd been watching them for a while, and I decided to learn more about their origin story by reading it. After about 9 months of it gathering dus...

Hello Internet! I hope you are doing well wherever you are in the world today 🌏 First of all, hey look at me posting again so soon 😮 Who's surprised? *Raises hand 🙋* I wouldn't get used to this though, I'm not sure how long this will last 🙈. Anyway, getting onto today's post. This week I have a movie review for y'all 🎬 ABBA's always been a fave classic band for me, and one of my favourite musical films growing up was Mamma Mia. I bloody loved that movie 😍 So I was super, duper freaking excited when the news dropped about a sequel. Now it's finally here 😁! I was so excited that I saw it the day it came out in Australia (19th July). I've been sitting on this review for a few weeks, and now I'm going to share it with the Internet: Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again was a fun-loving, sweet and wholesome sequel to Mamma Mia, 10 years after the ABBA-fuelled musical romantic comedy first burst onto the silver screen. I think the peopl...
